When Kyari was initiated, West Delhi lacked a play school which would amalgamate academic and extracurricular with equal vigour. Without restricting to one particular method of learning, various aspects like Montessori, play way and dramatisation are incorporated in the curriculum to make children aware and active. A huge emphasis is laid on confidence especially on stage. A holistic development approach which includes a speech therapist and a school counsellor has made us a school with our ethos deeply rooted in the welfare of each child.

With a loving and experienced staff Kyari has touched the lives of 60 k satisfied and trusting parents. All our teachers are nurturing and make sure that each child is given personal attention. Individual and group activities organised in classes encourage social interaction and friendships. Children gain confidence and awareness in an environment which fosters curiosity and creativity.
Curriculum
An activity based curriculum along with Montessori activities helps children retain information. Interesting and relevant craft add to the fun of learning.
Self developed learning material and related excursions make learning more meaningful. Dramatisation and dramatic story narration mesmerise young children and make it easier to understand the environment around them.
Regular Stage Exposure
During festival celebrations and in-house assemblies children go up on stage regularly. The constant exposure to an audience helps overcome their inhibitions and boost confidence. Activities with specialised instructors for Dance, Yoga, Music and Story Narration further enhance their ability to face an audience and not be shy. Stage presentations happen throughout the year and are an integral part of Kyari calendar.
Nutritious Meals
A wholesome, well planned meal which is prepared in the school kitchen is served to children. Meticulously planned to meet both children's needs and palate, meals are a time for learning not only how to eat in a group but how to share and serve. Meals are prepared very hygienically in the in school kitchen by trained staff. All raw material used is of impeccable standards and keeping in mind health of our little ones.
What makes Kyari unique?
Meaningful Events
Right from Mother’s Day in May to Rhyme Festivals to Grandparents Day to Graduation ceremonies in March the school calendar is flushed with events where parents are invited to school and children recite rhymes, narrate stories, sing and dance on stage. The bigger events are the Annual Day in Kamani auditorium and Sports Day at the cricket ground opposite Cambridge school. Both the events are eagerly awaited by parents. Children perform yoga, dances and meaningful ballets for an enthralled audience.
CCTV Surveillance
The entire school is covered with CCTV camera
and their is a backup available for 15 days. Security measures also include 2 guards at the gate and nannies on the stairs. Every class has 2 dedicated teachers and a nanny as well. Parents are issued a pick-up card to ensure safe dispersal.
Therapists & Counsellors
Stranger danger, good touch bad touch, early behaviour and speech issues are effortlessly tackled by our Speech Therapist and School Counsellor. They interact with children and give tips and methods to teachers and parents for improving behaviour or speech. Parents are encouraged to seek help if required and the sessions are immensely helpful in tackling problems if any.
Our Founder
Late Mrs. Nirmal Puri
Kyari is the culmination of our dear founder principal Late Mrs.Nirmal Puri’s 36 years of experience as a teacher and headmistress of Springdales School, Kirti Nagar. Good values, strong ethics and social consciousness were the benchmark of her life and she strived to instil these in the children.The idea of Kyari was born out the need to have a play school for children which believed that every child is unique and has immense potential. Kyari is the result of her lifelong dream of working with very young children and shaping them into model citizens. All her literary work is dedicated towards making children learn through poems and stories she penned.
Our Directors
Mr Ratinder Bhatia & Mrs. Purnima Bhatia
Kyari was started with dream and vision of having a playschool in west Delhi which would allow young children to enjoy learning in the most natural and creative environment. It is a brainchild of Mr Ratinder Bhatia and his wife Mrs. Purnima Bhatia. An ex Springdalian, Mr Bhatia has had a holistic view of education. Being Mrs Puri’s ex student both their ideas cemented the strong foundation for Kyari. Mrs Purnima Bhatia hails from Srinagar and did her schooling from Presentation convent, Srinagar and graduated from Women’s College. The dynamic duo has strived to strike the right balance between the latest learning equipment and experienced teaching staff so that children blossom in the best possible way. Together, on this wonderful journey spanning two decades, they have built a beautiful legacy.
A Note from our Principal
Kyari, as the name suggests, is a nurturing flower bed where young saplings can bloom. I've had the privilege of a long association with our founder principal,Late Mrs. Nirmal Puri right from the time when she was the headmistress of Springdales School.
When she shared her dream of opening a playschool, our directors Mr Ratinder Bhatia and Mrs Purnima Bhatia offered her the space to open one right next to their residence and I along with my colleagues Deepa, Mandita & Parul were all a part of the initial team that set up the school. Mr & Mrs Bhatia have played a pivotal role all along offering their wholehearted support, and guidance to realise Puri Ma’am’s dream.
Time has flown by and we are now celebrating our 20th year! It's a testament to our dedication and passion for providing top-notch care. Today, we boast of exceptional staff some of whom have been with us for more than a decade,who shower our little ones with love, attention and care. Our team creates a warm, nurturing environment, making Kyari a home away from home for our tiny tots.

Brainobrain Program is the game changer for children. It is the fusion of Abacus acumen (BRAIN SKILLS) along with the latest science of human excellence called Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP SKILLS) and Personality Development (LIFE SKILLS). Brainobrain is run by experts who have decades of experience in the areas of Abacus & Mental Arithmetic Concept, Children Empowerment, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and many other human excellence programmes. Brainobrain helps children to learn 'how to learn'.
Store ki Boree is a theatre group with expertise in coaching children with self-expression, voice training, vocabulary building, positive body language and most importantly to perform on stage and fall in love with being a presenter. It is a team of passionate theatre artists who conceptualize, design and direct, which helps children learn life skills and strengthen their cognitive thinking skills using storytelling, music, theatre and activity based learning.
This course aims to enhance the basic foundations of a child's personality with a special focus on inculcating confidence, removing shyness and hesitation, and opening up the child's body language voice and facial expressions using exercises, games, practical activities and the medium of theatre. All activities promote collaboration and interaction within the class, along with giving the child practical exposure.
Methodology | Theatrical Action Method
(TAM) is our unique, proprietary methodology that makes the child learn using a combination of 3 mediums i.e. visual (learning by observing), audio (learning by listening) and kinesthetic (learning by doing).
Trained from Julia Gabriel in eduplay and speech and drama Priyanka has vast experience in managing parent child program, is passionate about the holistic development of children and has completed several specialized trainings including Child's World Module and Edu-drama from Julia Gabriel Foundation validated by Trinity, London and Julia Gabriel Centre for Learning ,Singapore. She has worked at Julia Gabriel Centre For Learning, New Delhi. FUNCLUB,is an innovative initiative aimed to promote parent child interaction, language aquisition and socialisation.The parent and child program encourages connections through rhythm,sound and interactive play.
